The weather is something we definitely do share, and it is something which we can definitely share when we are speaking / practising our spoken Spanish.

If you look at the English translations you will see that they refer to the weather at the present time.

You will see that the weather expressions use different verbs / phrases.

  • HACE = literally, it makes or does
  • ES / ESTÁ = is
  • HAY = there is / are
  • NIEVA = it snows / it is snowing
  • LLUEVE = it rains / it is raining
